Children in Ukraine live with the daily pressures of war. RECHARGE offers time to rest, play soccer, make friends, and experience Christian care and encouragement.
Our coaches work with children throughout the year through seven SportKids clubs. Camp builds on those relationships — and creates time for conversations that continue long after the week ends.

70 children from Ukraine, plus teams of 10 children each from Romania, Moldova, and Hungary. The 30 international children pay for their own participation.
Alongside them: 50 accompanying parents and team coaches from other countries, 25 Ukrainian and Moldovan leaders and organizers, and 25 U.S. volunteers and partners.
Soccer matches are planned for mornings and evenings. Age groups, schedule, and final team arrangements are being confirmed.
A camp can open a door. Caring relationships help keep it open. These stories from our ministry in Ukraine show why we invest in both.
Myroslav’s family was displaced from Donetsk to Kyiv. He first came to one of our camps in Ukraine with little interest in faith. After camp, he joined soccer activities, then Bible study, and began helping at camps himself.
Over time, he started leading spiritual discussions with other children. When his family moved to the Czech Republic, his connection with his mentor continued. One week became the start of a lasting relationship.

For Kolya, SportKids has become a place of encouragement and trusted relationships. His coach teaches him about soccer and walks alongside him in everyday life. “You’re like a father to me,” he told his coach.
Through patient care and encouragement, the team has seen him take steps in faith and prayer. His story shows why caring relationships matter — the same relationships RECHARGE is designed to deepen.

The tournament is planned at the Football Association of Moldova’s training facilities in Vadul lui Vodă. Our organizers are confirming the exact venue and facilities available to the group.

We are planning for 25 U.S. volunteers and partners. Possible roles include English conversation, soccer and team activities, creative workshops, program support, and Christian encouragement.

Radost Camp · Vadul lui Vodă, Moldova. The camp plan includes accommodation, a pool, and agreed access to the grounds.
Four meals daily: breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, and dinner.

$500 helps fund one child’s participation; $1,000 helps two, and $5,000 helps ten, based on the current estimate. Children’s travel is not included in the confirmed funded accommodation and meals.

When should I travel, and where should I fly?
Camp runs July 19–25, 2027. Fly into Chișinău International Airport “Eugen Doga” (RMO). Agree on arrival and departure dates with the team before booking.
What should I budget?
Approximately $500 for accommodation and meals, plus $1,500 for round-trip U.S. airfare. These are planning estimates; other expenses and final arrangements are still being confirmed.
What could I do as a volunteer?
Possible roles include English conversation, soccer and team games, creative workshops, program support, and Christian encouragement. Roles are agreed with the coordinators.
Can I bring a church or small team?
